With this rich historical context in mind, we approached the project,reinterpreting the cultural elements of the island within a 21st-century residential building.
The villa consists of individual cubic volumes housing the living room, kitchen, master bedroom, and an annex for guest accommodation,all strategically oriented to maximize views of the sea and the path of the sun. The integration of indoor and outdoor spaces is a hallmark of the design, as the villa embraces the natural surroundings, dissolving the boundaries between closed and open spaces, allowing nature to flow into every room.

The outdoor areas mirror the indoor spaces, featuring an outdoor living room, a cooking area, and a dining room. These areas are visually interconnected by the central swimming pool, which offers stunning sea views.The architectural layout has been meticulously shaped to harness abundant natural sunlight and frame the spectacular sunset within the pool area, enhancing the overall experience of the villa.

The triangular plot of land served as the project's initial inspiration,harking back to the historical days when Ibiza was primarily an agricultural island, characterized by its linear white houses. The design of the new villa draws from the island's traditional residential architecture, specifically theEs Casements or Ses Cases. These structures featured a principal original building with several attached living units. These whitewashed houses boasted a rustic porch known as El Porxet that provided shade in the summer, along with a fireplace and an oven. The heart ofthese homes was El Tanco, the garden where vegetables and herbs were cultivated, and where most daily activities unfolded.
